Pro Staff currently has an opening for a General Manager in the Houston Market. This is an important leadership position within our company that has responsibility for ensuring the Market's financial and operational goals are met. Core fundamental expectations of this position include:

- Serves as a leader in sales-related activities and the basic business disciplines of goal setting, measuring performance, improving the business process, and building and maintaining a strong customer base.
- Manages the overall sales and operations direction of the market.
- Completes personal selling activities with targeted accounts and prospects.
- Monitors industry trends in the marketplace and assists with incorporating findings into operations and services.
- Assists with examining competitive activity and developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase market share.
- Works with the executive management team to identify business opportunity needs, operational strengths and weaknesses, and other operational improvements.
- Oversees the market's financial performance and optimal use of financial resources to deliver targeted profitability.
- Manages, coaches and develops sales and operations teams to  ensure individual and team goals are met.
- Monitors overall revenue, expenses, and profit levels.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to: minimum of five years of sales and operations experience including three years in a management or supervisory position; demonstrated ability to establish and maintain business/client relationships within the field through effective communication, persuasion, and negotiation; working knowledge of business strategy, industry practices, and local market conditions.
