A Few Causes We Support
BestPrep is a statewide nonprofit that helps prepare students with business, career, and financial literacy skills through hands-on experiences. As a BestPrep partner, Pro Staff conducts mock interviews with students and provides resume coaching. By helping tomorrow’s business professionals, we’re creating a foundation for future success.
Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House serves as a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children. To support their cause, Pro Staff organizes an annual Spring for a Cure campaign to collect wish-list items for Ronald McDonald House locations in each of our market cities. We also provide meals, game nights, and other activities throughout the year.
Dream It. Do It.
Dream It. Do It. is a national manufacturing careers recruitment strategy developed by The Manufacturing Institute. Pro Staff helps build a new pipeline of skilled workers for local manufacturers by supporting Dream It. Do It. Minnesota’s campaigns, including the Tour of Manufacturing which provides an opportunity for the public to learn about modern manufacturing.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
JDRF is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Pro Staff associates have walked in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes for over 12 years. As part of the JDRF Youth Ambassador Program, we partner with children who have juvenile diabetes and their families, drawing on their inspiration to galvanize outreach and fundraising efforts. Our team has been successful in raising thousands of dollars for diabetes research each year through auctions, individual donations, and fun activities.
Pay It Forward Fund (PIFF)
Pay It Forward Fund (PIFF) is a non-profit organization that helps patients pay their bills while they undergo treatment for breast and women’s cancers. They pay essential living expenses (mortgage, groceries, utilities, etc.) so patients can focus on what’s really important – getting well. PIFF was founded in 2005 and Pro Staff has been involved since 2008 through sponsorships and volunteer events. Jody Christiansen, VP of Pro Staff-Minnesota, currently serves on the Foundation’s board.
